Objective: This project entailed finding, scanning, then creating 14 images of equal size and uploading them to
flickr.com. A consistent theme must run throughout the body of work. For example, time, obsession, dead things, all things pink, etc. The images should work together aesthetically, utilizing similar design principles and elements. This project will be output to screen in a slideshow format. Find objects, scan, then create images. Using Photoshop, modify the images to create continuity over time.
ARTIST STATEMENT
This project entailed finding, scanning, and digitally manipulating at least 14 images, uploading them to flickr.com and outputting to screen in a slide show format. I loved the aesthetic created by scanning different fruits and vegetable cut in half, and used PhotoShop to modified the original scan to give the appearance that color was being added to the objects over time, and also to create continuity in the slide show.
